Here you can see a variety of the rooms, props and environments, we create for the movie.

Creating a 3D world is a long process and we have made several tests using different programs to create simple floor plans, mock ups of the rooms and some 

advanced lighting tests.

The baked lighting image of the kitchen took 6 minutes to render a single frame. It looks great, but in cost of processing power it is too time consuming considering the hardware we use in the production.

So unfortunately we cannot expect to create that realistic lighting in the movie, considering we have about 11.000 frames to render.

We still have a lot of time left, so we hope we can come up with a more efficient and still beautiful solution.

3D environment demo ride

This quick and dirty demo ride was created and recorded

in real time with a tech thingy called a space navigator!

The space navigator is sort of a 3D joy stick and

can create a hand held feel. (see more on the tech page)
