The art ranges from preproduction sketches to 3D props to actual images from the finished movie.

On the right are concept art images of the different environments. The images were created by Flemming Schmidt.

A large portion of the movie is going to take place inside the apartment, so we wanted to take special care in creating an interesting and believable setting.

The images were created by painting colours and new details on top of 3D environments created in Maya. This way we can make an early estimate at how the environments will look, without going all the way in 3D yet.

As you can see, there will be a lot of details in the apartment, so our prop department is in full swing creating these in 3D.

We are going to use fairly low poly objects, but with rich use of handpainted and interesting textures.

If you are an enthusiastic modeller, we can still use your help creating cup boards, plates, bottles and all those other details that will make the environment convincing!
